Monk players get a set of primary Monk capabilities to start with

The Monk category is a category that can be Cheap MapleStory Mesos performed starting at level 1. In other conditions, it is not a Hero category that becomes available to players later on in the experience. As such, one of the most widely discussed topics are the category creates and areas of expertise. More particularly, what can be expected from each expertise from starting to end while factoring in different play-styles. The three Monk areas of expertise or personality creates are Brewmaster, Mistweaver and Windwalker. In more typical conditions, a reservoir, a hybrid between a healbot and harm dealer, and a melee DPS respectively.

Monk players get a set of primary Monk capabilities to start with and a set each for the areas of expertise to further differentiate a Monk personality from another depending on each player's play-styles. Basic Monk capabilities consist of those such as Competition Palm, Blackout Conquer, Treatment Spear, Paralysis and Disable. As the name of the primary category capabilities suggests, the category is incredibly versatile with a number of capabilities ranging from operating harm, buffing, debuffing and healing.
